Rev. Owen Grafton Collamore was born in 1823 in Ontario – Methodist Episcopal
Methodist Episcopal General Conference, held at Napanee, August, 1874. Rev. Owen G. Collamore was born in Ontario in about 1824. In 1856, he was serving in Wentworth county, where his son was born. In 1871, he was stationed in Ingersoll township, Oxford county. At the Conference,
“A resolution was offered by Rev. S.G. Stone and adopted, relieving the Rev. O.G. Collamore from all attendance on Committee in consequence of ill health.” (Napanee Standard)
The ill health cannot have been life-threatening, for in 1891, Rev. Collamore and his wife Clarissa can be found on the census living at Charlotteville, Norfolk County. He died between 1891 and 1901.…The Lennox and Addington County Museum and Archives Photo Credit: e30017b
